Nicholas loved adventure.

"I don't know exactly where God wants me to go," he told his friends as he waved goodbye, "But I'm sure I'm supposed to sail on this ship. I know if I obey, God will show me what to do next."

The ship sailed away toward the North, but a big storm rose from the sea and blew the boat in another direction until it was wrecked against some rocks.
