But danger follows her home and so does Rob. When he appears, the necklace disappears making Caroline suspect Rob. Still, with no one else to turn to, she must trust him. Is that trust a mistake? Together, can they retrieve her precious family heirloom? Can Caroline escape the stalker who has followed her to South Carolina?
REVIEW
I've just discovered this author and I will read more of her books in the near future because I truly loved the book I just read. Though the only thing that deceived me was that the story ended too fast.
I wished it would have lasted a bit longer.
First of all this is a Kindle book.
The book is a fast paced story and it doesn't stop at any given time. You story gives you hardly any time to breath, I read this book in one evening. It will keep you enthralled as the story will unfold in front of you.
You won't want to put the book(Kindle) down.
This is a romance, contemporary, Gothic story. It is filled with love, mystery and murder, all the elements you need to create a great story. The 2 main characters are enigmatic as their story is told and the more you read the more you understand the tie that binds them.
This book could have been a bit more developed, by this I mean it could have been a bit more longer.
To my taste this book was a bit to short, it felt more like a short story, of course a long short story but none the less, I'm used to books with more then 250 pages at least. And this one has 140 pages.
That is the only downfall of this book. But it's a great book .
