EXCERPT
Reality and
Illusions...
reflection of life
on the canvas of existence,
on the mirror of other's perspective
is different from contours of reality.
blurred images shimmering on
ripples of consciousness,
are tapestries of impressions woven
on looms of preconceived notions~
a diaphanous brocade of opinions,
simulating gossamer butterfly wings
fluttering in fragrant draught
of spring in resplendent bloom~
seemingly rainbows in flight to
some,
to others soaring flowers,
or an emblem of hues of spring.
or like mirages soaring high
in the arid air roasted into sultry
sighs
by the blazing sun, blazing sands
as volatile dreams of verdure oases,
evanesced by opaque night of
solitude.
in the somber labyrinths of nocturne
scattered in smoldering embers of
light
and presided by an amber chandelier
all silhouettes are swallowed
just as spirits ascending heights of
eternity
are splattered in shades of reality
their images in others eyes long
burnt...
